Anastasia 'Ana' Nelson is a Northern California Artist

specializing in luminous colourful paintings in many different

mediums. Some of the favorites are watercolours, acrylics,

pastels, and oils. Anastasia is also an award winning

photographer who enjoys sculpting, writing, and poetry

related to her painting and gardening. The goal with most of

the artwork is to achieve a type of emotional realism, rarely

realized in pure photography, through colour choices, energetic

brush strokes and emotive colour interactions that evoke

personal perspective interactions with each individual viewing.

Anastasia is a Graduate of the University of California at Davis

with a degree in Studio Painting and Art History, who's works

are currently showcased in many collections around the world.
