Ghosts on many souls roam the range on Georgia O'Keeffe's Ghost Ranch. This particular bovine bone twisting with the trees' bluff view came to represent some of the best memories of the place. To recall them and see the time and place and passage of people of all species, including the bovine - this picture works for me. Hope you find some spark in it for you too.
The texture of the place is immense. Huge sky. Crumbling cliffs of colour. Sage bristle and tumbling rocks. Many layers of stories on stories, New Mexico, all the states, stories and sides to the treasures.
