Grandmothers' bequest, a birthday rose. It blooms of tasty pink on luscious vanilla. Licked by the sun it blushes of ripe raspberries as it is exposed to the sun's rays. The fragrance tastes of fresh dew on soft petals unfurling. Irregular curls and curves, always changing, fascinate me. Breeding roses and such is a passion, so after a number of years we see where the seedlings are headed. Some are extra special, be it a parent or child of the roses that inhabit the studio slopes, this one is special too. And this particular picture captures it tart lemon depths to berry kissed edges.
